Museum Catharijneconvent
Museum Catharijneconvent uses centuries-old and contemporary art to show the present and past of Christianity in the Netherlands. The museum is housed in a magnificent old monastery dating back to the Middle Ages, in the center of Utrecht, within walking distance of the Dom Cathedral.
In addition to a state collection, the museum has various collections of an ecclesiastical nature. The prints shown here mainly originate from the collection of the Protestant Religious Art Foundation (SPKK). The Foundation represents: The Mennonite Church of the Netherlands, the Protestant Church in the Netherlands, the Remonstrant Church and the Christian Reformed Churches.
